Design description
KOP E is a modern interpretation of classic lighting forms - simple, but not obvious. Its distinctive line is based on four spherical shades suspended from two slender wires, which makes the structure seem light, almost floating in the air. The lamp harmoniously combines geometry and softness: the glass spheres resemble planetary systems, and the sparing form of the fixture and wires gives the whole a futuristic but approachable look. KOP E subtly dominates the space - it does not impose itself, but organizes it with light and rhythm.
Lamp components and functionality
The KOP E lamp is based on the same elegant design as the KOP D plafond, but instead of metal brackets, two thin wires in polyester braid are used here, which give the fixture a more light, suspended character. The central element is a horizontal metal rod, on which four spherical milk-white glass lampshades with a diameter of 20 cm have been arranged. They are responsible for the pleasantly diffused, non-irritating light, which will work well both as main and mood lighting.
Each of the lampshades conceals an interchangeable light source with an E27 thread (up to 15 W LED), which gives the user flexibility in choosing the color and intensity of lighting. The structure of the lamp is made of black or white powder-coated metal (RAL 9005 / RAL 9003) with a structured finish, which further emphasizes its modern and minimalist character. The whole is characterized by thoughtful geometry and balance of forms - perfectly complementing modern residential and commercial spaces.
Application and protection class IP20 / IP44
KOP E will ideally find itself as an illumination of the dining room table, kitchen island or a larger living room - wherever you need balanced light and a distinctive, but not overwhelming accent. The lamp is available in IP20 and IP44, which allows safe use also in areas with increased humidity - for example, over a kitchen countertop.
KOP E is part of a coherent family of lamps, which together create a luminous architecture of the interior. In combination with wall lamps KOP A, B, C, F, plafond KOP D, the collection creates a harmonious, modern lighting system.

Each lamp in the KOP series is assembled by hand - with attention to detail and finish. It is not only a source of light, but also a conscious aesthetic choice that brings rhythm, softness and balance to the interior.

Designed by
Michał Markiewicz
Designer, interior architect, co-founder and main creator of the UMMO Lighting brand. He comes from Gdansk, Poland, where he developed a passion for design from an early age. Even as a child he created lamps from available materials, rearranging lampshades and experimenting with form. Over time, he naturally gravitated towards interior design and industrial design, combining functionality with aesthetics in his own way.
He graduated with a degree in Interior Design, and also gained experience as a jewelry and furniture designer. Today he focuses on lighting, which he treats as “jewelry of the interior.” - It not only complements the space, but becomes its focal point. He draws inspiration from everyday life: forms, textures and shapes present in the environment.
His creative process involves a journey from sketch to prototype and final product, with functionality being paramount - each lamp must not only catch the eye, but also shine well. Michał's designs are dominated by recyclable materials: metal, glass, wood. UMMO's style is recognizable for its distinctive form and color, as well as its attention to quality and timelessness.
For Michał, local production and sustainable design are particularly important to minimize environmental impact and promote conscious design. UMMO Lighting is a brand that, through his vision, combines aesthetics with responsibility and craftsmanship with modernity.
