Design description
The pendant lamp from the Ligne collection is a nod to simple, geometric forms. Two milky white spheres resting on a horizontal steel beam create a minimalist and harmonious composition. It is from the French word "ligne" (line) that the lamp took its name - reflecting both the idea of movement and balance. The design is dominated by clean lines, classic colors and a subtle play of proportions. The whole creates a modern form that easily fits into various interior styles - from scandi and modern, to loft and eclecticism.
Lamp components and functionality
The lamp consists of a horizontal frame made of powder-coated metal, on which are placed two spherical glass lampshades with a diameter of 20 cm. A LED strip (25W, 3000K) is integrated in the lower part of the frame to provide an additional source of light. The LED lighting can be customized to a neutral color of 4000K. The lamp also has two sockets for E27 bulbs (max 2×15W LED). The whole is suspended from two steel cables and textile braided wires.
Application and IP20 protection class
Ligne was designed for indoor use - it will be perfect over the dining room table, in the kitchen, living room or office space. The IP20 rating allows safe use in dry areas. Thanks to the diffused light of the shades and linear LED, the lamp provides pleasant, even illumination in both smaller and larger spaces.

Each Ligne lamp is manufactured with attention to detail in a local manufactory. Handmade components, precise assembly and individual quality control guarantee the unique character of each piece. It is not only a functional source of light, but also an element of modern Polish design that stands out for its quality and aesthetics.

Designed by
Michał Markiewicz
Designer, interior architect, co-founder and main creator of the UMMO Lighting brand. He comes from Gdansk, Poland, where he developed a passion for design from an early age. Even as a child he created lamps from available materials, rearranging lampshades and experimenting with form. Over time, he naturally gravitated towards interior design and industrial design, combining functionality with aesthetics in his own way.
He graduated with a degree in Interior Design, and also gained experience as a jewelry and furniture designer. Today he focuses on lighting, which he treats as “jewelry of the interior.” - It not only complements the space, but becomes its focal point. He draws inspiration from everyday life: forms, textures and shapes present in the environment.
His creative process involves a journey from sketch to prototype and final product, with functionality being paramount - each lamp must not only catch the eye, but also shine well. Michał's designs are dominated by recyclable materials: metal, glass, wood. UMMO's style is recognizable for its distinctive form and color, as well as its attention to quality and timelessness.
For Michał, local production and sustainable design are particularly important to minimize environmental impact and promote conscious design. UMMO Lighting is a brand that, through his vision, combines aesthetics with responsibility and craftsmanship with modernity.
