Nature is an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Take a look at the PARUMA collection of wall lamps by UMMO, resembling palm leaves in shape. The distinguishing feature of the luminaire is the openwork form made of intricately cut metal, which gives the impression of lightness and delicacy. Wall lamps have a built-in LED light source that ensures long life and low energy consumption. Monochrome color variants of the lamps create great arrangement possibilities. Paruma is Japanese for palm. After all, when it comes to good design, the palm tree reflects on us ;)

Designed by
Michał Markiewicz
Designer, interior architect, co-founder and main creator of the UMMO Lighting brand. He comes from Gdansk, Poland, where he developed a passion for design from an early age. Even as a child he created lamps from available materials, rearranging lampshades and experimenting with form. Over time, he naturally gravitated towards interior design and industrial design, combining functionality with aesthetics in his own way.
He graduated with a degree in Interior Design, and also gained experience as a jewelry and furniture designer. Today he focuses on lighting, which he treats as “jewelry of the interior.” - It not only complements the space, but becomes its focal point. He draws inspiration from everyday life: forms, textures and shapes present in the environment.
His creative process involves a journey from sketch to prototype and final product, with functionality being paramount - each lamp must not only catch the eye, but also shine well. Michał's designs are dominated by recyclable materials: metal, glass, wood. UMMO's style is recognizable for its distinctive form and color, as well as its attention to quality and timelessness.
For Michał, local production and sustainable design are particularly important to minimize environmental impact and promote conscious design. UMMO Lighting is a brand that, through his vision, combines aesthetics with responsibility and craftsmanship with modernity.
