A pearl fished out of the Baltic Sea? No! This is SALLO - a collection of minimalist hanging, wall, floor and table lamps, which was created as a result of cooperation between the SALAK studio and the UMMO brand. The shape of the lampshades resemble shells with pearls or heads in flattened hats. The original shape makes the lighting from this collection an ideal choice for those looking for a modern and stylish design. This phenomenal series of luminaires combines modernist character and contemporary design. The models are available in two color variants: black and white. Hanging lamps have been equipped with one, two or three LED light sources, and the others with single ones. The collection was in the finals of the Good Design 2022 competition. Discover SALLO - a real lighting treasure designed at the shore of the Polish sea.

Designed by
Alicja Korbut - founder and designer of Salak Studio
Alicja Korbut is a designer with an expressive style and an intuitive approach to form, colour and material. As the founder of Salak Studio, she combines design precision with emotional narrative in her work, creating spaces and objects that tell stories - personal, sensual and timeless.
Her aesthetic oscillates between subtle minimalism and artistic gesture. She often reaches for natural raw materials and organic structures, exploring the relationship between function and expression. She treats each project as a dialogue - with the user, with space, with culture.
Design education and experience gained both locally and abroad translate into the mature visual language that defines Salak Studio. Alicia is not afraid of experimentation while respecting craftsmanship - her designs are balanced but never obvious.
Her work is guided by the idea of authenticity - she believes that design only makes sense when it flows from a genuine need and a sincere creative process.
