Design Description
The JINGU B wall lamp draws inspiration from the Japanese word "jingu" (神宮), meaning temple. Its minimalist form and subdued color scheme allude to Zen aesthetics, bringing an atmosphere of calm and balance to the interior. Instead of dominating the space, JINGU B complements it with light - with balanced lines, calm colors and simple form. The oval, fluted milk glass lampshade is set on an arm extending from an elongated metal base. The whole is complemented by a hat-shaped lampshade. Jingu resembles a modern interpretation of a classic wall lamp, but devoid of unnecessary ornamentation - based on purity of form and discipline of proportion.
Lamp components and functionality
The lamp's design combines a metal frame with a fluted frosted glass shade, which gives it a subtle but distinctive character. A metal wall bezel measuring 25x5.8 cm completes the whole, creating a cohesive composition. It can come in olive, black or white colors The lamp is equipped with a holder for an E27 bulb (max 15W), which allows you to choose a light source of preferred color and power.
Application and IP20 protection class
Thanks to its IP20 protection class, JINGU B is intended for indoor use in dry areas, such as the living room, dining room or bedroom. It is not recommended for use in areas exposed to moisture, such as bathrooms or kitchens (wet areas).
The Jingu wall lamp blends well with the pendant lamp from the same series, creating a cohesive, modern lighting set. Such a combination allows to maintain visual continuity in the space, combining ceiling, table and wall lighting into one harmonious composition.

Designed by
Michał Markiewicz
Designer, interior architect, co-founder and main creator of the UMMO Lighting brand. He comes from Gdansk, Poland, where he developed a passion for design from an early age. Even as a child he created lamps from available materials, rearranging lampshades and experimenting with form. Over time, he naturally gravitated towards interior design and industrial design, combining functionality with aesthetics in his own way.
He graduated with a degree in Interior Design, and also gained experience as a jewelry and furniture designer. Today he focuses on lighting, which he treats as “jewelry of the interior.” - It not only complements the space, but becomes its focal point. He draws inspiration from everyday life: forms, textures and shapes present in the environment.
His creative process involves a journey from sketch to prototype and final product, with functionality being paramount - each lamp must not only catch the eye, but also shine well. Michał's designs are dominated by recyclable materials: metal, glass, wood. UMMO's style is recognizable for its distinctive form and color, as well as its attention to quality and timelessness.
For Michał, local production and sustainable design are particularly important to minimize environmental impact and promote conscious design. UMMO Lighting is a brand that, through his vision, combines aesthetics with responsibility and craftsmanship with modernity.
