Design Description
The JINGU A lamp takes its inspiration from the Japanese word "jingu" (神宮), meaning temple or palace of a deity. Its minimalist form and subdued colors allude to Zen aesthetics, bringing an atmosphere of calm and balance to the interior. The colors from the manufacturer's palette emphasize the natural character of the lamp, while the fluted frosted milk glass shade gently diffuses the light, creating a cozy aura.
Lamp components and functionality
JINGU B is made of powder-coated metal in RAL 6013 olive green, RAL 9005 black or RAL 9003 white, and a fluted milk glass diffuser that subtly filters light without causing glare - making it perfect for auxiliary lighting next to a bed, armchair or along a corridor. Dimensions: 29,3 x 25,8 x 32,6 cm, make it compact. The wall lamp is mounted on a rectangular base (25 × 5,8 cm), which provides an aesthetic and stable mounting.
The lamp uses a universal E27 thread, which gives full freedom in the choice of light source - both in terms of color and power (up to 15W LED).
Application and IP20 protection class
Thanks to its IP20 protection class, JINGU A is intended for indoor use in dry areas such as the living room, dining room or bedroom. It is not recommended for use in areas exposed to moisture, such as bathrooms or wet kitchen areas.
The Jingu pendant lamp goes well with a wall lamp from the same series, creating a cohesive, modern lighting set. Such a combination allows to maintain visual continuity in the space, combining ceiling, table and wall lighting into one harmonious composition.

Designed by
Michał Markiewicz
Designer, interior architect, co-founder and main creator of the UMMO Lighting brand. He comes from Gdansk, Poland, where he developed a passion for design from an early age. Even as a child he created lamps from available materials, rearranging lampshades and experimenting with form. Over time, he naturally gravitated towards interior design and industrial design, combining functionality with aesthetics in his own way.
He graduated with a degree in Interior Design, and also gained experience as a jewelry and furniture designer. Today he focuses on lighting, which he treats as “jewelry of the interior.” - It not only complements the space, but becomes its focal point. He draws inspiration from everyday life: forms, textures and shapes present in the environment.
His creative process involves a journey from sketch to prototype and final product, with functionality being paramount - each lamp must not only catch the eye, but also shine well. Michał's designs are dominated by recyclable materials: metal, glass, wood. UMMO's style is recognizable for its distinctive form and color, as well as its attention to quality and timelessness.
For Michał, local production and sustainable design are particularly important to minimize environmental impact and promote conscious design. UMMO Lighting is a brand that, through his vision, combines aesthetics with responsibility and craftsmanship with modernity.
