Design description
Kello A is a pendant lamp inspired by Japanese minimalism, dressed in Polish sensitivity to detail. Its design is a harmonious juxtaposition of geometry and natural accents: a hemispherical metal lampshade contrasts with a subtle wooden ball made of ash - an ornament that gives the whole a warm and unique character. The central milky-white glass shade gently diffuses the light, creating a pleasant aura and soft glow.
Kello means "clock" in Estonian. Although Kello lamps don't indicate the time, they certainly turn every second into a great(l)time! It's lighting that doesn't shout, but exudes tranquility and elegance - it will fit perfectly in japanese spaces, as well as in retro, loft or modern interiors.
Lamp components and functionality
KELLO A combines three materials - metal, glass and wood - into a coherent, visually balanced form. The lamp is equipped with a polyester braided cord and a metal round headliner with a diameter of 12 cm. Its dimensions are 27 x 27 x 66.4 cm. The lighting is available in two classic color options: pure white RAL 9003 or deep black RAL 9005. The white glass lampshade (⌀15 cm) harmonizes beautifully with the ash ball. The lamp has an interchangeable light source with G9 thread (LED max 12W), which allows you to choose the right color and intensity of light according to the needs of the interior.
Application and IP20 protection class
KELLO A pendant lamp is designed for dry interiors, with IP20 protection class. It will be perfect over a dining room table, in a relaxation area in the living room, over a kitchen island (away from steam and moisture) or in an elegant office. Its aesthetics suit spaces where design and functionality go hand in hand. The lamp can be mounted individually or in compositions - for example, in sets of several pieces over a long countertop or counter.
There is also a triple variant of the pendant lamp - KELLO B, which will be ideal for larger rooms and commercial interiors. The entire series is complemented by the KELLO ST table lamp and KELLO C wall lamp, with which it is easy to build a coherent set of lighting within a single space - combining decorative, utilitarian and atmospheric functions into a harmonious whole.
Handcrafted and unique character
Each lamp in the Kello collection is assembled by hand to order, with attention to detail and quality of finish. This is a product for those who value individuality and conscious design - not mass production. The ash wood used in the decorative sphere is natural, so each piece has a unique grain pattern.

Designed by
Michał Markiewicz
Designer, interior architect, co-founder and main creator of the UMMO Lighting brand. He comes from Gdansk, Poland, where he developed a passion for design from an early age. Even as a child he created lamps from available materials, rearranging lampshades and experimenting with form. Over time, he naturally gravitated towards interior design and industrial design, combining functionality with aesthetics in his own way.
He graduated with a degree in Interior Design, and also gained experience as a jewelry and furniture designer. Today he focuses on lighting, which he treats as “jewelry of the interior.” - It not only complements the space, but becomes its focal point. He draws inspiration from everyday life: forms, textures and shapes present in the environment.
His creative process involves a journey from sketch to prototype and final product, with functionality being paramount - each lamp must not only catch the eye, but also shine well. Michał's designs are dominated by recyclable materials: metal, glass, wood. UMMO's style is recognizable for its distinctive form and color, as well as its attention to quality and timelessness.
For Michał, local production and sustainable design are particularly important to minimize environmental impact and promote conscious design. UMMO Lighting is a brand that, through his vision, combines aesthetics with responsibility and craftsmanship with modernity.
