Its name, inspired by the word “malumi,” meaning “sailor” in Tamil, evokes travel, discovery, and the search for new forms. The lamp’s design draws on the Memphis movement, known for its bold approach to color, geometry, and form, while maintaining modernist simplicity and functionality.

MALUMI A Acoustic features the collection’s signature flat-oval, geometric shade, whose form was designed to maintain a balance between proportion and distinctiveness. In this version, the classic character of the geometric form is enhanced with an acoustic function.
