Design Description

In the FUNSUI family of lamps, each model brings its own interpretation of light - and FUNSUI ST does so with grace and a touch of fun. The very name, derived from Japanese (funsui = fountain), suggests movement, lightness and flow, and carries a European echo of the word "fun" - and this is no coincidence. The project is based on the philosophy of playful design, it's not about playfulness directly, but about daring to design with a bit of playfulness. About accepting that everyday objects can evoke emotions other than mere delight - they can also evoke a smile, curiosity, pleasant surprise. In the table version, this idea takes the form of a graceful, rounded object that, like a bubble of light, floats above the surface of the furniture without overwhelming it with its presence.

Although the influence of Memphis aesthetics is clearly felt here - playfulness of proportions, boldness of color - the whole has been tamed with modernist discipline. It is not a flashy accent, but the quiet hero of the space. FUNSUI ST introduces light with character, but without the need to draw attention to itself.

Lamp components and functionality

The lamp is made of three materials:metal components painted with fine-textured paint, in RAL 5003 navy blue, RAL 9003 white and RAL 9005 black, milky glass and natural ash wood, painted in the color of the metal components - the color of the cable is the same as the other components.... This carefully considered combination of textures and tones makes FUNSUI ST an eye-catcher, without disturbing the coherence of the interior. The lamp comes in dimensions: 10 x 10 x 52,9 cm.

The central element of the lamp is a milky glass shade, which gently diffuses the light, providing a soft, pleasant glow. Inside is a fixture with an interchangeable light source and E14 thread (up to 9W) - you can independently choose a bulb of the right color and intensity, adjusting the mood to the time of day or the function of the interior.

The whole is set on a stable metal base with a diameter of 10 cm, from which grows a slender stem, supporting the lampshade. The lamp is equipped with an aesthetic polyester braided cable with a length of 150 cm.

Application and IP20 protection class

FUNSUI ST is designed for use in dry, domestic spaces. IP20 protection class means that the lamp is suitable for interiors where there is no direct moisture or contact with water. It will be ideal on a coffee table, desk, bedside table or dresser, where the light is intended to create a cozy atmosphere. Avoid installation in bathrooms, kitchens (near the sink) and outdoors.

The Funsui table lamp goes well with a pendant lamp, chandelier or wall lamp from the same series, creating a cohesive, modern lighting set. This combination allows you to maintain visual continuity in the space, combining ceiling, table and wall lighting into one harmonious composition.
