Design description
The name Funsui comes from the Japanese language, which means fountain - symbolizing movement, lightness and constant flow. The FUNSUI B chandelier draws on this inspiration, combining elements of Memphis style with modernist discipline. Its form is reminiscent of a sea buoy, and its rounded shapes give it a sculptural but minimalist feel. It's lighting that not only brightens up a space, but also provides a distinctive accent to it.
Lamp components and functionality
The chandelier consists of five milky glass shades arranged symmetrically on a metal structure in RAL 5003 navy blue, RAL 9003 white and RAL 9005 black. Ash wood components, also in navy blue, white and black, add warmth and naturalness to the whole. The lamp is equipped with five E14 fixtures, which allows the use of interchangeable LED light sources of up to 9W each. This allows the user to customize the color and intensity of the light. The dimensions of the chandelier are 73,7 x 73,7 x 97,7 cm.
Application and IP20 protection class
FUNSUI B is designed for use in dry, domestic spaces. The IP20 protection class means that the lamp is suitable for interiors where there is no direct moisture or contact with water. It is ideal for use in the living room, dining room or bedroom, where the light is intended to create a cozy atmosphere. Avoid installation in bathrooms, kitchens (close to sinks, hoods, and kitchen wet area) and outdoors.
The Funsui chandelier goes well with the standing lamp and wall lamp from the same series, creating a cohesive, modern lighting set. Such a combination allows to maintain visual continuity in the space, combining ceiling, table and wall lighting into one harmonious composition.

Designed by
Michał Markiewicz
Designer, interior architect, co-founder and main creator of the UMMO Lighting brand. He comes from Gdansk, Poland, where he developed a passion for design from an early age. Even as a child he created lamps from available materials, rearranging lampshades and experimenting with form. Over time, he naturally gravitated towards interior design and industrial design, combining functionality with aesthetics in his own way.
He graduated with a degree in Interior Design, and also gained experience as a jewelry and furniture designer. Today he focuses on lighting, which he treats as “jewelry of the interior.” - It not only complements the space, but becomes its focal point. He draws inspiration from everyday life: forms, textures and shapes present in the environment.
His creative process involves a journey from sketch to prototype and final product, with functionality being paramount - each lamp must not only catch the eye, but also shine well. Michał's designs are dominated by recyclable materials: metal, glass, wood. UMMO's style is recognizable for its distinctive form and color, as well as its attention to quality and timelessness.
For Michał, local production and sustainable design are particularly important to minimize environmental impact and promote conscious design. UMMO Lighting is a brand that, through his vision, combines aesthetics with responsibility and craftsmanship with modernity.
