Design description
KUUL G is another installment of the series, in which the spherical form plays the first fiddle. This time the designer opted for a perfect balance between subtlety and expressiveness - the lamp resembles a smaller version of the KUUL E model, equipped with a 20 cm diameter shade.
The distinctive glass sphere with a milky finish is suspended from a long textile cord, which gives the fixture a modern and light expression. The lamp catches the eye with its simplicity, but this is what makes it a universal accessory - suitable for interiors maintained in both minimalist, japanese and classic styles.
It is available in three color versions: deep black RAL 9005, pure white RAL 9003 and elegant burgundy RAL 3004 - each of which gives it a different character, from raw elegance to cozy warmth.
Lamp components and functionality
KUUL G consists of a round glass shade with a diameter of 20 cm made of milky white glass, which gently diffuses light and eliminates glare. The lamp is suspended from a 112.5 cm long black braided cable, which allows height adjustment during installation.
The whole is crowned with a mount made of metal, powder-coated with a structured finish. The light source hidden inside the shade is an E27 thread (up to 15W LED), which allows you to choose your favorite color and intensity of light.
Thanks to its symmetry and proportions, KUUL G can be used both individually and in a group arrangement - for example, over a kitchen island, table or as a lighting accent in a living room or bedroom.
Application and protection class IP20 / IP44
KUUL G is available in two variants: with an IP20 rating, dedicated to dry spaces, and IP44, which provides additional protection against moisture - ideal, for example, for kitchens or bathrooms outside the zone of direct contact with water.
This makes it not only decorative, but also functional - it will work well in both domestic and commercial projects (restaurants, cafes, hotels), where stylistic consistency and durability matter.

Designed by
Michał Markiewicz
Designer, interior architect, co-founder and main creator of the UMMO Lighting brand. He comes from Gdansk, Poland, where he developed a passion for design from an early age. Even as a child he created lamps from available materials, rearranging lampshades and experimenting with form. Over time, he naturally gravitated towards interior design and industrial design, combining functionality with aesthetics in his own way.
He graduated with a degree in Interior Design, and also gained experience as a jewelry and furniture designer. Today he focuses on lighting, which he treats as “jewelry of the interior.” - It not only complements the space, but becomes its focal point. He draws inspiration from everyday life: forms, textures and shapes present in the environment.
His creative process involves a journey from sketch to prototype and final product, with functionality being paramount - each lamp must not only catch the eye, but also shine well. Michał's designs are dominated by recyclable materials: metal, glass, wood. UMMO's style is recognizable for its distinctive form and color, as well as its attention to quality and timelessness.
For Michał, local production and sustainable design are particularly important to minimize environmental impact and promote conscious design. UMMO Lighting is a brand that, through his vision, combines aesthetics with responsibility and craftsmanship with modernity.
