Design description
ENKEL 4 is the largest of the pendant lamps in the ENKEL collection - striking and minimalist at the same time. Its name, derived from the Swedish word "enkel" meaning "simple", captures the idea behind the design: clear form, clean lines and modern character.
This quadruple ceiling lamp, made of metal and maintained in white (Signal White RAL 9003) or black (Jet Black RAL 9005), fits perfectly into spaces decorated in Scandinavian, Japanese, modern or loft styles. Thanks to its balanced proportions and architectural composition, ENKEL 4 is not only a source of light, but also a strong visual accent in the interior.
Lamp components and functionality
ENKEL 4 is a luminaire composed of four metal lampshades with a diameter of 17 cm, powder-coated with a subtle, structured finish. They are suspended from textile braided wires and two steel cables, which ensure structural stability and even weight distribution.
The whole is supported by a 60 cm long ceiling bar, which visually organizes the composition and gives the lamp a harmonious rhythm. The total length of the lamp is a maximum of 131 cm - thanks to the adjustable pendants it is easy to adjust it to the height of the room and the desired lighting effect.
Sources of light with E27 thread (max 4×15W LED) can be adjusted to the needs of the interior - from classic, hidden inside the shades, to decorative bulbs that extend above their outline and add a distinctive character to the lamp.
Application and IP20 rating
ENKEL 4 was designed with large spaces in mind - it will be perfect over a dining room table, kitchen island, in a spacious living room or in commercial premises such as restaurants, showrooms or hotel lobbies.
With an IP20 rating, it is designed for use in dry indoor spaces.
Handmade and unique character
Each ENKEL 4 lamp is assembled by hand with attention to detail and finish. The structured powder coating increases scratch resistance and gives the fixture an elegant matte look. It is an option for those who appreciate solid workmanship, durability and modern but timeless design.

Designed by
Michał Markiewicz
Designer, interior architect, co-founder and main creator of the UMMO Lighting brand. He comes from Gdansk, Poland, where he developed a passion for design from an early age. Even as a child he created lamps from available materials, rearranging lampshades and experimenting with form. Over time, he naturally gravitated towards interior design and industrial design, combining functionality with aesthetics in his own way.
He graduated with a degree in Interior Design, and also gained experience as a jewelry and furniture designer. Today he focuses on lighting, which he treats as “jewelry of the interior.” - It not only complements the space, but becomes its focal point. He draws inspiration from everyday life: forms, textures and shapes present in the environment.
His creative process involves a journey from sketch to prototype and final product, with functionality being paramount - each lamp must not only catch the eye, but also shine well. Michał's designs are dominated by recyclable materials: metal, glass, wood. UMMO's style is recognizable for its distinctive form and color, as well as its attention to quality and timelessness.
For Michał, local production and sustainable design are particularly important to minimize environmental impact and promote conscious design. UMMO Lighting is a brand that, through his vision, combines aesthetics with responsibility and craftsmanship with modernity.
